Cohabitation agreements

More and more couples are choosing not to get married. For such a couple, there are very limited rights and obligations under Florida law, especially if the couple does not have children together. Through a Cohabitation Agreement, a couple that chooses not to get married can provide for the joint ownership of assets, the joint liability of debts, parenting issues and the payment of support.
